Hit the road from Skeiding Guest Farm, taking the N2 to Riversdale. Pop in at Baleia Bay Wine for a wine tasting or, if there’s a lady on board, you can indulge in a bit of shopping at Bali Trading. Continue to Stilbaai and pay a visit to Inverocche Gin – a world-class producer of gin, a highlight on every itinerary – before stopping off at Matchbox for some more shopping. Travel down the gravel road to Vermaaklikheid, a charming one-horse town with nothing more than a tiny little post office. Be sure to keep an eye out for Die Skeerhok, a farm stall situated on the banks of the Duivenhoks River, offering some of the best coffee, tea, traditional melktert and meats in the region!
